Read This Tee LLC operates a private, first-party Pinterest board-organizing tool for its own Read This Tee Pinterest business account. The tool is not offered to customers or third parties and will not use Pinterest's production API unless Pinterest grants access.

Purpose and owner review
The owner uses the tool to organize Read This Tee's approved Shopify catalog products into relevant public Pinterest boards and to prepare gradual organic publishing. The owner reviews each product, destination board, Pin title, description, link, and publishing decision before any action is submitted to Pinterest.
Pinterest account and permissions
The tool connects only to the Read This Tee Pinterest business account through Pinterest OAuth. Its intended permissions are limited to reading the connected account and its public boards and Pins, and creating or updating that account's public boards and organic Pins. It does not request access to advertising campaigns, audiences, billing, messages, secret boards, or customer records.
What the tool may do
- Reads Read This Tee's own Pinterest account, public boards, and Pins as needed.
- Creates or updates public boards owned by Read This Tee.
- Creates, saves, or updates organic Pins for approved Read This Tee products.
- Checks current board and Pin information through the Pinterest API when needed to reduce duplicate publishing.
What the tool does not do
- It does not access or manage other people's Pinterest accounts.
- It does not access secret boards, messages, advertising campaigns, billing, or customer records.
- It does not scrape Pinterest or use purchased, rented, or third-party datasets.
- It does not sell, resell, license, redistribute, or share Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data with third parties.
- It does not automatically publish products without owner review.
Information and storage
Read This Tee may keep its own first-party catalog information, proposed product-to-board assignments, owner approvals, and workflow status. Pinterest board, Pin, and account information is requested from the Pinterest API when it is needed and is not sold, redistributed, or used to build an unrelated database.
OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored securely on the server only to maintain the authorized connection. They are not exposed to storefront visitors or shared with third parties.
Disconnection and deletion
The Read This Tee owner can disconnect the tool by revoking its Pinterest authorization. After disconnection, Read This Tee will stop calling the Pinterest API, revoke or delete the associated OAuth credentials, and delete any Pinterest-derived information retained by the tool that is no longer required for security, legal compliance, or resolving an active support issue. Read This Tee's own Shopify catalog records may remain because they originate from Read This Tee rather than Pinterest.
Security
Credentials are kept server-side with access limited to the owner and authorized service components. Read This Tee uses encrypted connections, limits permissions to the intended functions, and reviews proposed publishing actions before submission.
